The ErrorBarLogPlots package is written for Mathematica 7.0 and later. 
It includes the functions:
	ErrorListLogPlot
	ErrorListLogLinearPlot
	ErrorListLogLogPlot

which add log-scale plotting to supplement Mathematica's ErrorListPlot function.

Unzip the files into a convenient directory. To install the package automatically
to the proper Mathematica Applications directory, launch the notebook:
	ErrorBarLogPlots_Installer.nb

It will execute when loaded by the Mathematica front-end (you will be prompted to
run the initialization cells - you should allow it to do so). The notebook will
copy the appropriate package files into the appropriate directory for Mathematica
to be able to find them.

Note that for Mathematica versions earlier than 10, the installer will install 
the version 2.0.2 package; you will need to re-run the installer after upgrading 
to Mathematica version 10 or later.

Once installed, you may load the package during a Mathematica session using

	<<ErrorBarLogPlots`
or
	Needs["ErrorBarLogPlots`"]

Note the backward tick mark (`) in the expressions. This character is near the 1
key on a standard keyboard.

Documentation for the package is integrated with the Mathematica documentation
system. For the system to include the package files in its search and index
path, the Mathematica kernel must be restarted after the package is installed
the first time.

You may need Administrator or Root privileges to install the package for all users.

To accomplish this in Windows:
First launch Mathematica by right-clicking its icon in the start menu and choosing 
"Run as Administrator" and then entering the appropriate password. 
Open the installer notebook from within Mathematica.

In Apple or Linux OS (if attempting to install for all users fails):
You must launch Mathematica from a terminal using the command "sudo". To 
accomplish this, you need to know the file path to the Mathematica front-end 
application program. Here is the procedure: 

(1) Launch Mathematica normally, then execute the following line in a notebook:

	FileNames[ "*", {$InstallationDirectory}] // ColumnForm

(2) Look through the resulting output for the complete path to an application 
file with a name like "Mathematica" or "Mathematica.exe". Copy this full path 
name for use in step (4).

(3) Exit Mathematica.

(4) From a terminal window, execute the following command, with 
"path to Mathematica" replaced with the full file path you copied in step (2):
	sudo "path to Mathematica"

You will be prompted for your password. Once Mathematica launches, open the 
installer notebook from within Mathematica. Note that this procedure will work 
only if you are a user who can be granted root privileges (a "sudoer").
